At Redbrook Therapy, we do more than just provide therapy and coaching. We intentionally blur the line between the two, aiming to revolutionize the traditional therapy model to better meet your needs.
We have a vision for therapy that exists outside of the insurance-based, medical necessity model. We aim to normalize seeing a therapist or a coach to invest in your mental health and wellbeing as a part of your regular self-care/self-maintenance routine, and to make psychological guidance and care more accessible to all.
We know the process of finding a therapist can be overwhelming. It can feel especially daunting at a point in your life when you’re already struggling. That’s why we’re offering a simple alternative to the current system. With Redbrook, you can avoid the phone calls to clinics, voicemails, phone tag, waitlists, being asked to provide personal information and fill out forms before you’re even assigned a therapist, back-and-forth e-mails to schedule that first appointment, and the knowledge that if you don’t click with your therapist you’ll either have to start all over or settle because you’ve already invested so much time and effort.
At Redbrook Therapy, meeting with a therapist or coach is as easy as putting yourself on our calendar. Booking online requires nothing more than a name, phone number, and e-mail address. There are no paperwork or fees involved for your initial consultation. We start with a conversation and take care of the rest later.
While the traditional therapy model is based on pathology and treatment, we are focused on healing, growth and helping you cultivate your strengths in order to reach your full potential. A common end goal of insurance-based therapy is to “experience an alleviation of symptoms and return to previous level of effective functioning.” At Redbrook, this is only the beginning. The work you and your therapist do together has the potential go far beyond what medical necessity dictates.
We believe you don’t need to suffer from a diagnosable mental illness to benefit from therapy.
